Windows 10 missing bluetooth on off free download

I have since tried updating the drivers, reinstalling the drivers and even uninstalling the device from the Device Manager page, followed by selecting "scan for hardware changes", and nothing has worked, its as though my computer has simply forgotten how to turn Bluetooth on. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. I've read that sometimes it just shows up again on its own so I've been checking regularly but no dice. I've read that re-installing Windows 10 might work but who wants to do that?

Thank you. This helped my user out on their Dell Precision , where Bluetooth functionality had disappeared completely from Windows Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. How satisfied are you with this reply? Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. Did you ever work out what was wrong? Akron Rick. In reply to ConnorWatkins1's post on September 17, You gotta love an OS that just loses important functions at random, don't you?

The Bluetooth drops out periodically and the only way I have found to fix it is to turn off the pc, unplug it for 10 seconds, plug it back in and then start. It always fixes it, but it is a pain. Restarting or shutting down and starting again do not solve the problem; the ac cord has to be disconnected and then reconnected.

In reply to djv1's post on September 18, I'll give it a try. It can't hurt. It worked! You're a genius! The key was obviously unplugging in addition to turning the computer off which I had done any number of times.

In reply to Akron Rick's post on September 17, Like you said, my bluetooth has randomly re-appeared overnight. It must take Thursdays off Things that DID work: Do a complete shut down hold SHIFT and shut down the computer , unplug the computer from all power for 10 seconds, plug the computer in and start the computer.

Result: This option did not appear at all. Using Control Panel's Bluetooth settings. Device Manager - scanning for hardware. Result: No effect. Drivers for the hidden Bluetooth devices were already up to date. Windows Updates. Performing a typical restart of Windows. Using services. Reinstalling third party driver packages for the same hardware. Result: The installer would not complete because the Bluetooth hardware was not detected.

Windows Troubleshooter for Bluetooth. Result: The troubleshooter would not complete because the Bluetooth hardware was not detected. In reply to Keep-M. Yep, all that pretty much echoed my own experience. I've done all of this but no luck My laptop still says that I don't have bluetooth when in fact I'm just using it the other day I'm close to giving this up, running out of solutions btw, mine is HP pavilion g6 laptop Send help haha.
